I’ve spent the last 20 years in investor relations and capital markets, building technology that helps public companies connect with and earn the trust of the world’s most demanding stakeholders: their institutional investors.
But I believe the discipline behind that work is bigger than IR. Every organisation, listed or private, company or institution, or even cities, need to build trust, capital, loyalty, and participation with the people it depends on: shareholders and employees, customers and communities, citizens and regulators.
This is stakeholder relations, the discipline of building durable relationships with the people who shape an organisation’s future. This publication is my persnal project to go deeper and explore this field!
